Using Private Label Rights Articles As Website Content

Over the last year or two, private label rights articles have become very popular to use as website content. A whole new industry of writers and distributors has blossomed, including membership sites aggregating and supplying regular blocks of articles to subscribers. Has this been a positive development for the internet?

There are those who see the emergence of private label rights articles as a further step towards degrading the quality of content available on the internet. Their view is that these articles make it easy for lazy website authors to pump out large volumes of template web pages, which may all be very similar. Others see these articles as a means to raise the overall quality of website content, by allowing webmasters to efficiently outsource the addition of well-written relevant articles to enhance the value of the information they offer. The truth probably lies somewhere between these positions.

When Google changed the rules for Adwords and allowed advertisers to set lower bids for the placement of advertisements on content websites, some of the attraction was taken from Adsense as a way to make money from websites. Perhaps too many websites were being produced with bland content that left visitors, led there by the search engines, with little choice: back out or click on an advertisement in search of some information more relevant to their needs. Now, to make searches more useful to users, the search engines are less likely to rank a poor quality website high enough to attract a lot of traffic. Moreover, website owners with average levels of traffic may find they need to supplement their reduced Adsense earnings with additional forms of website income. From a web surfer’s point of view, the overall outcome appears to be a better quality of site rising to the top of the search engine lists.

Accordingly, the attraction of automatic website generation software using mass produced content appears to be declining, and old fashioned effort to produce websites with quality content, and more than just Adsense as a way to earn an income, seems to be returning to vogue. The popularity of private label rights articles has been maintained as their use declines in the former area, and rises in the latter.

Private label rights article sales are usually limited to a relatively small number of buyers, usually no more than around 200-350 for membership sites, and often under 50 for specialist suppliers. There are high volume mass-market exceptions, but there is market resistance to the large number of these articles in circulation. A high proportion of purchased articles are not used for a variety of reasons, from workload to relevance of the niche. Buyers also use the articles in different segments of the market. Add to these considerations the article editing that usually takes place to customize them for each website, and the outcome is little duplication of private label rights articles as seen in practice by any one user within the huge international internet market.

As internet marketing steadily matures as a business the long term place for outsourced private label rights articles as content in the building of quality websites seems assured.

The Art Of Information Product Creation With Private Label Rights

Creating and selling information products via the Internet is one of the top ways to earn income online. And one of the most popular ways to create information products and market them as well is by using private label rights, also known as PLR, products, articles, ebooks, websites, sales copy and other materials. Here is a brief overview of the basic steps involved in the art of information product creation with private label rights.

Step One: Find PLR

Begin by searching for “private label rights” via your favorite search engines. More than 5 million listing show up on Google™. To narrow your search, you could key in the niche for which you need products like “private label rights health” or “private label rights home business.” Once you narrow your field, you might want to try one or two in your budget range, as most are very affordable and even offer trial periods, guaranteed. You can also check with forums in your niches, too, and ask for PLR membership recommendations from fellow forum members.

Step Two: Create Unique Product

After you join up with a private label rights membership site, read through your PLR products to see how you can revise them to make them unique. You want to make them different from those being sold by other members of that site. For example, you can:

- Add digital photos to the content

- Insert other articles or parts of articles into the ebooks

- Revise the original content using your own examples, quotes and details.

- Make reports out of some of the ebook content and / or articles to package with your product or use as freebie or front-end or back-end sales items, etc.

- Include multi-media like audio and / or video clips

Step Three: Insert Money-Generating Tools

After you finish making your product unique, you need to insert money-making features so that once your readers open your ebook, report, articles, etc., they continue to earn more income for you. You can insert your complete contact information with site link to the first and last pages of our ebook and report (even use in footer / header if you want), insert banner ads, ads with images and affiliate links, classified listings, paid sponsorships, Google Adsense and other types of ads.

Step Four: 24/7 Marketing

Now it’s time to put round-the-clock marketing into place. Some popular methods are autoresponders set up with splash pages or other types of email capture forms, and sending out articles and press releases to online directories like Ideamarketers.com and EzineArticles.com and other publishers (even offline media). Simply conduct an online search for “article marketing” and “press releases” for many more places to submit and more ideas.

Private Label Rights Software – What to Watch Out For

Sure, it’s easy to find ebooks with private label rights, but that can be bad since so many others also buy the rights — there are sometimes a glut of the same product on the market. There are two great things about private label software — it’s not as common as just an ebook, and it’s fairly easy to add new features so you have a unique product.

But there’s a big problem with PLR software that can sometimes sink an entire project. If you’re not a programmer yourself you’re going to have to hire someone to make the changes — and that’s when problems can pop up. You may have the best programmer in the world, but if the PLR software isn’t able to be easily modified, you’re stuck.

Here are three things to investigate before you buy ANY piece of private label rights software.

1. What modification rights do you have? In some cases all you have is the right to brand your own name and URL into the software, in which case you won’t be able to add unique features to make your software stand out from the others. Look for private label rights software that gives you full modification rights.2. What computer language is used? If the original program was written in SmallTalk, or Clarion, or some other uncommon language, you may have problems finding someone who can do the modifications. And if you do find someone, you’ll probably end up paying a premium price for their expertise.

3. Are all source files, including graphics, available? Private label rights software should come with the program source code, obviously, but sometimes the graphics that make up the buttons, the skin of the program, etc., aren’t included. That may not be a deal-breaker if those pieces aren’t included, but you need to know whether hiring a graphics designer is going to be part of your expense.

And finally, a bonus question you might want to ask:

4. Is original programmer available? If you can use the guy who wrote the original program for your changes, you’ll typically end up with a much better job at a cheaper price. Because the original coder knows his/her way around the code and can make changes much faster.

Using private label rights software can be a great way to differentiate yourself from the rest of the market; just make sure you find out the answers to those questions before you make a financial commitment you may regret.

Why Private Label Rights Products Are Your Keys To Success

Private label rights products are very popular right now! People who didn’t think they could create their own products are extremely delighted to be able to purchase products with private label rights to a product. Private label rights products are products that you can purchase and put your name on them as the creator or author. This helps those people that feel comfortable creating ebooks, reports, software, or articles get over the hurdle of having a product to sell online.

In this article, I am going to show you just how easy it can be to make some serious money using the power of private label rights products.

The first thing you should if you plan use PLR products to make money online is make it yours. By this I mean, changing it so that it reflects your personality and uniqueness. This can be accomplished in a number of different ways. The most popular way is by having new and eye-catching graphics designed for your new product.

If you know your way around Photoshop you can purchase “action scripts” that will allow you to design your own high quality graphics for your private label rights product. Alternatively you can also hire a graphic designer to do it for you. Either way, having graphics is a great way to make a product yours and different from all of the rest of the people selling the same private label rights product.

The next thing you can do to generate profits from repackage them into groups of products and hold dime sales. These are sales where you offer a product at a special price for a predetermined amount of time. Depending on the products you can make some really good money using this strategy. This method offers the fastest turn around on generating profits from your PLR products.

You could also combine multiple different PLR products to create one completely different product. This method does require some time and patience but the pay offs can be substantial especially if marketed correctly. An example would be if you received the private label rights to 2 products on digital photography. You could then combine them into one product, create some graphics and either offer private label rights or sell it as a stand alone product. The decision is completely yours!

That is what makes private label rights the ultimate way to generate cash online.

Four Reasons You Should Consider Private Label Rights

With so many information products being promoted on the internet, why should you consider private label rights? It’s a valid question, and here are four reasons why you should give private label rights serious consideration:

1) Uniqueness. Generally speaking, a Private label rights information products allow you to modify the content, change the title, change the ecover, list yourself as the author, etc.

For example, if you purchase an ebook with private label rights and no restrictions, you could modify the content and give it a catchy title. That alone would make the ebook unique and help increase sales.

In other words, with private label rights you can create your own product within as little as a few hours. This is huge advantage in the internet marketing arena, where you may have hundreds (or even thousands) of others promoting the same information products. In other words, by creating your own product you can stand out from the crowd.

Of course, before you purchase a private label rights product you will want to review the license to see if there are any restrictions in terms of what you can or cannot do.

2) Pricing. With your own unique private label rights ebook you can name the price. This is important because the right price can help you sell more ebooks. How much should you charge for your unique private label rights ebook? I’ll save that for another article – but the point is that you control the pricing.

3) Marketing. Since you have your own unique private label ebook you can launch an affiliate program (have others sell it for you in return for a commission), offer a free chapter in an effort to sell more copies, have your own customized sales page, etc. Again, you are the only one with this unique private label ebook – which can be an advantage when it comes to marketing.

4) Time savings. This is another big advantage when it comes to owning a private label rights information product. You can keep the product the same, or modify (change, add, or remove) the copy. In essence you can make some changes in less than hour, change the title of ebook, and you have your own product. Compare this to writing your own ebook – which can takes weeks or months.

In sum, those are four key advantages of using private label rights to create your own information product. If you have not considered using private label rights in the past, now may be the time.
